Facebook Bootcamp – 1/2 Day Workshop
“I’ve Started a Facebook Fan Page, Now What?”
Sound familiar? Then this workshop is for you.
Learn how to design a more effective page and attract clients and customers to your business. In this 1/2 day workshop we will start with the basics and then move into advanced strategies. Laptops are encouraged but not necessary. We will have a full presentation coupled with hand-on examples.
The workshop will be on Tuesday March 1st from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

First session – the basics:
- How to start your fan page with the right settings and begin connecting with your audience
- How to set a welcome page, grab your vanity URL and look at insights
- The New Facebook Page layout – how to navigate and take advantage of the new features
- 10 strategies to get more Fans
- Creating and marketing your Event in Facebook
Second session – advanced strategies:
- Top applications to use to make your Fan Page more interesting
- FBML – what is it and how to use it
- How to bring in your blog posts automatically, connect with Twitter and other social networks
- The Like button and application
- Facebook advertising
At the end of the session, you’ll have a better page and strategies you can put into action immediately to keep your community growing!
